WorkSafe Victoria 2010 Awards

More than 800 people attended the 22nd WorkSafe Awards in Melbourne on 28 October to watch the latest batch of workplace safety heroes accept their awards.
The winners in each category were:
Health and Safety Representative of the Year
- Winner - Glen Barber from Loy Yang Power;
- Highly commended - Dave Jones from Ambulance Victoria.
Best OHS Management System
- Winner - GHD Pty Ltd Victoria for GHD Health and Safety Management System.
Best OHS Solution in Construction and Utilities
- Winner - Tenix Pty Ltd for Safe Working with Continuous Conduit;
- Highly commended - Coliban Water for Confined Space Entry Workbox System
Best OHS Solution in Public Sector and Community Services
- Winner - Bendigo Health for Loddon Linen Services Stress Prevention Program.
Best OHS Solution in Manufacturing, Logistics and Agriculture
- Winner - FreshBins Pty Ltd for World’s First Robotic Bin Cleaning Service.
Best OHS Initiative by a Small Business
- Winner - Kooka Brotha's Pty Ltd
