Safety in Action 2012 kicks off today
The action-packed, three-day Safety in Action trade show kicks off today at Melbourne Exhibition Centre. The event, held concurrently with Melbourne Materials Handling, will provide safety managers and supervisors a great opportunity to keep track of safety innovation and industry developments.
The show features hundreds of manufacturers and suppliers and thousands of new safety products. And that’s not all - there are also free knowledge workshops and live demonstrations throughout the three days that could help safety professionals improve workplace health and safety. There are workshops on height safety, managing risk, machine safety and materials handling. To view the detailed program, visit http://www.thesafetyshow.com.au/events/safety-in-action-melbourne/Free-Industry-Knowledge-Centres.
Attending a seminar at Safety in Action and Melbourne Materials Handling’s knowledge centres could make the attendees eligible to collect 1 CPD point for every hour of attendance. The attendees can collect the ‘Proof of Attendance’ slip at the end of each session.
The safety trade show is suitable for OHS managers and officers, risk managers, production managers, logistics managers, warehouse managers, building contractors, rehabilitation coordinators, emergency services personnel, union representatives, foremen, occupational therapists and HR managers among others.
