OHS laws under review

The Minister for Employment and Workplace Relations, Julia Gillard, has announced a national review into model OHS Laws.

An advisory panel chaired by Robin Stewart-Crompton will conduct the review. The other panel members are Barry Sherriff and Stephanie Mayman.

The panel has been asked to report to the Workplace Relations Ministers’ Council on the optimal structure and content of a model OHS Act for use in all jurisdictions.
