National Safe Work Month activity kit released
Ahead of next month’s National Safe Work Month, Safe Work Australia (SWA) has released its activity kit, designed to provide practical guidance and ideas to implement the WHS risk management approach throughout October.
‘Safety: every job, every day’ is this year’s campaign theme, intended to encourages all workplaces — regardless of occupation, industry, location or size — to prioritise safety every day.
With practical resources, it is designed to guide workplaces through the month, each week aligning with each step of the risk management process:
“Practising safety: every job, every day means we can reduce the rate of fatalities, serious injuries and illnesses in our workplaces, and ensure that everyone gets home safely from work,” SWA said.
“To help you make safety: every job, every day a reality, we’ll be stepping through the risk assessment process throughout October, with practical resources to guide discussions and activities that you can use in National Safe Work Month and beyond.”
You can download the activity kit here, from SWA’s National Safe Work Month resource hub.
