Brisbane to host National Conference on Injury Prevention and Safety Promotion
The 10th National Conference on Injury Prevention and Safety Promotion will be held at the Brisbane Convention and Exhibition Centre in Queensland from 2-4 November 2011.
The event will feature representatives from all facets of injury prevention including research, teaching, practice and policy. A number of international and national speakers including Dr Margie Peden, World Health Organisation; Associate Professor Adnan Hyder, Johns Hopkins School of Public Health; Professor Gordon Smith, University of Maryland and Professor Hank Weiss from the University of Otago.
Early bird conference registration closes next Wednesday 31 August. The conference will include a number of optional pre-conference workshops.
