The Portable Signal Lite (182A or 182R) is suitable for a multitude of emergency or cautionary signal applications. The bright LED Lites, visible for up to 2 km, are available in amber and red.

They can easily be switch-ed at the touch of a button on the back, between constant on and flash pattern and the magnetic backing simply fixes to any metallic surface. The Lites also have a self-supporting stand attached, which folds flush when not in use, that enables them to sit up on any non-metallic surface.

For more permanent attachment to non-metallic surfaces, an adaptable plastic bracket with heavy-duty adjustable straps and reinforced mounting holes is available. This bracket and light combination is particularly useful should the warning light need to be attached to fence posts or trees in an emergency. Another useful fixing is an adjustable magnetic base, giving some degree of height and 90° swivel capability. Personnel working in situations where traffic flow is of concern will find the traffic stands and cone and pole brackets useful for mounting the Portable Signal Lites.

The lights are of lightweight but sturdy construction with a virtually unbreakable lens, even with heavy usage. They will operate continuously for 24 h on four AA batteries and are available in a rechargeable format.
