2025 Australasian Road Safety Conference

20 October, 2025 - 23 October, 2025

The 2025 Australasian Road Safety Conference will be held in Perth, bringing together road safety decision-makers and stakeholders from Australasia and international jurisdictions — to facilitate collaboration, share information and achieve common safety targets in the field of road safety.

‘Equity, Elasticity and Evolution’ is the 2025 theme, with equity recognising the inherent value of each person or road user; elasticity addressing the system’s resilience and adaptability, emphasising elasticity and energy for equitable access — promoting shifts in transportation modes; and evolution referring to the evolution of a safe system, including past approaches, future challenges, and insights into components, measures and human factors.

The Australasian College of Road Safety and Austroads are the organisations behind this year’s conference; keynote speakers for 2025 include Dr Wes Marshall from the University of Colorado Denver, United States, and Dr Lee Randall from the Road Ethics Project, South Africa. Session subjects include: Roads, road design and road environment; Workplace and work-related road safety; Fatigue; Technology; and Policy development and implementation.
