The TKO Knockout dock door series consists of four doors: HeavyWeight, WelterWeight, CruiserWeight and ThermalWeight. The range is designed to reduce downtime and repair costs.
The TKO HeavyWeight is the strongest of the range. It is suitable for heavy traffic doorways and dock areas where forklifts handle bulky products.
The TKO WelterWeight features the TKO impact design, which includes spring-loaded steel guidance pins and rugged insulated panels.
The TKO CruiserWeight is suitable as a replacement door or for new construction projects. It does the job of a standard dock door by securing the doorway while capturing HVAC energy. The insulated panels and door-mounted seals rise clear of traffic when the door opens.
The TKO ThermalWeight dock door has insulated panels and a full-perimeter seal. The panel-mounted gasket is protected from tearing and easy-to-clean panels meet requirements for food handling facilities.
The Impact-A-Track guide track bends when hit but does not break and ensures smooth door operation. There is no need to set up stanchions in front of the guide, saving dock space.
Track V-Groove permits door to be knocked out, but not pushed in, for doorway security and wind resistance.
TKO doors have heavy-duty spring-loaded steel pins that are strong and durable. The pins are attached to door panels in a steel housing. When the door is hit, the panel transmits the force to the pins. The pins slide out of the guide track with minimal panel resistance to the blow. Features include: spring-loaded steel plungers; door-mounted weatherseal; no doorway obstructions - tracks mount tight and flush to the wall; and door tracks that absorb heavy impacts.
