Bi-flow demand/resuscitator

Thursday, 29 January, 2004 | Supplied by: Ferno Australia

Ferno2's bi-flow demand/resuscitator provides the emergency care professional the ability to ventilate non-breathing or spontaneous breathing patients while freeing the second rescuer to perform other vital procedures.

Two distinct operational settings integrated into one device allows the operator to switch between 40 L/min during resuscitation or 160 L/min to satisfy the patient's spontaneous ventilation.

Available as an option is the disposable single patient use inhalation/exhalation valve, housing and filter interface to reduce the cost of resuscitation procedures and minimise cleaning of the resuscitator.

The disposable, single patient use Ferno2/MEDS PPV face mask can be used with one hand to achieve an optimal mask while maximising patient comfort. Designed to deliver 100% oxygen at either setting, the bi-flow D/R can be used with a mask or endotracheal tube and an integral audible alert sounds if 55 cm H2O pressure is reached.
