New GM puts clothing on the HVS agenda

Friday, 30 March, 2007

Safety sign manufacturer, HVS Services is making occupational health and safety clothing available through its network.

New general manager to the company, Michael Maguire instigated the move, which is intended to boost customer service levels throughout the organisation.

"I know from experience that most of our clients, large and small, have to go to several different suppliers in order to make their workplace safe. This results in duplication of effort and added costs in setting up suppliers and paying the bill," Maguire said.

The range will include high-visibility clothing that can be customised to include logos and name tags.

"The aim of offering clothing into our product mix is to try and make the process of satisfying strict OHS requirements on work sites easier, especially when pressed for time," Maguire said.
