Safe Work Australia has published two new reports on the 2018 National Return to Work survey.
This survey presents the latest return to work outcomes for injured workers receiving workers compensation.
The National Return to Work survey 2018 — Summary report provides a comprehensive summary of the National Return to Work survey responses from 2018.
The National Return to Work survey 2018 — Headline measures report provides a summary of two key measures from the 2018 survey responses — the Returned to Work Rate and the Current Return to Work Rate.
The survey is undertaken on a biannual basis and compares the return to work experiences and outcomes of injured workers against a number of variables, including returning to work, workplace rehabilitation and employer support. The reports outline the experiences of injured workers and the factors that may have an effect on their return to work.
The reports contain useful information for employers, human resources professionals, healthcare providers, workers’ unions, Australian state and territory workers compensation authorities, and insurance companies.
Both reports are available on the Safe Work Australia website.
