New Guide Assists Dentists with Workplace Safety

Pro-Visual Publishing has proudly released their latest edition of the Augmented Reality (AR) Dental Professionals Guide to Safety and Hygiene 2019/20, distributed free of charge to dental surgeries Australia wide.

The wall-mountable printed Guide is to be displayed in a place where dental professionals will be able to review and access relevant information on a daily basis. Dental professionals are expected to maintain a workplace of a particularly high standard in regards to cleanliness and hygiene. Not only this, the correct use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) also greatly contributes to a workplace that is safe and infection free for both workers and patients. Displaying critical work place safety information will help workers adhere to their responsibility of maintaining a safe and hygienic workplace.

The topics for this year’s Guide have been carefully selected to address issues pertinent to the industry in regards to health and safety, which include:

  • Transportation of Instruments and Equipment to another Facility.
  • Management of Sharps.
  • Autoclave Safety.
  • Chemical Safety.
  • Personal Protective Equipment.

As mentioned, the Guide features AR, a digitised feature aimed at enhancing engagement and offers an aspect of interactivity. By simply downloading the free Pro-Vis AR app and scanning over any AR capable content, dental professionals can access further safety information straight to their smart device, for example, videos and PDF files.

“I would like to thank all the sponsors of the Dental Professionals Guide to Safety and Hygiene 2019/20. Their support has made it possible for the Guide to be distributed free of charge.”
