New Augmented Reality Safety Guide Reminds HVAC&R Workers to Put Safety First

Pro-Visual Publishing in conjunction with the NSCA Foundation has proudly released their latest edition of the Augmented Reality (AR) HVAC&R Contractors & Engineers Guide to Safety 2019/20, distributed free of charge Australia wide.

The purpose of the Guide is to educate workers about key safety issues within the HVAC&R Industry. The industry has many potential hazards, which can pose a risk to one’s health and safety if the correct precautions aren’t taken. Displaying the wall-mountable Guide in an accessible place allowing for regular viewing will help to ensure workers uphold safety in the workplace and are constantly reminded of its importance.

Together Pro-Visual Publishing and the NSCA Foundation have carefully selected topics that address issues pertinent to the industry in regards to health and safety, which include:

  • Refrigerant Safety.
  • HVAC Hygiene.
  • Prevention of Falls.
  • Confined Spaces.

As mentioned, the Guide features AR, a digitised feature aimed at enhancing engagement and offers an aspect of interactivity. By simply downloading the free Pro-Vis AR app and scanning over any AR capable content, workers can access further safety information straight to their smart device, for example, videos and PDF files.

“I would like to thank all the sponsors of the HVAC&R Contractors & Engineers Guide to Safety 2019/20. Their support has made it possible for the Guide to be distributed free of charge.”
