Keeping New & Expecting Parents informed with Augmented Reality Health & Wellbeing Guide

Whether you are becoming a parent for the first time or have had a previous pregnancy, it is an exciting time but can also sometimes be a demanding and daunting experience. Preparing for a newborn and becoming a parent requires a lot of preparation, being aware and knowledgeable on important information relating to pregnancy will allow you to become as prepared and equipped as possible.

One very important factor whilst pregnant is prenatal nutrition. Nourishing foods play a vital role in a healthy pregnancy. You need to eat foods from a variety of sources to ensure you get all the vitamins, minerals and nutrients your baby needs. Eating well will help you feel better, give you more energy and help with weight management, whilst contributing to your baby’s healthy growth and development.

There is a plethora of information available to expecting parents which can often become overwhelming. During this time, it is important to educate yourself but not to become overwhelmed with information.

The recently released Pregnancy and Development of your baby Guide 2020/21 includes additional information on pre-natal nutrition as well as some other key topics for pregnancy in an easy to read 1m x 1m Guide. The Guide is published in conjunction with the Continence Foundation of Australia, the Eczema Association Australasia and the Red Nose Saving Little Lives and is distributed free of charge to the industry for display in hospitals, and offices of obstetricians and gynaecologists.

The Guide features Augmented Reality (AR) capabilities, allowing it to become digitally interactive. By downloading the free Pro-Vis AR app, expecting parents, gynaecologists and obstetricians can use their smart device to scan any AR capable content to access PDF files and videos.
