A Department of Environment, Land Water and Planning employee has died after being thrown from his vehicle on a private property at Cheshunt, 70 km north of Mansfield, Victoria, last week.
It is believed the man was driving up a steep hill when his four-wheel drive slipped sideways and rolled over a number of times, ejecting him from the vehicle.
He did not return home that night and was found on Saturday by a friend who lived nearby.
The man, 60, was employed by DELWP as a wild dog controller.
