Exposure levels to airborne contaminants under review

Safe Work Australia is conducting a review of the regulatory framework for workplace exposure standards for airborne contaminants.

The methodology that will be used for the review has been published on its website.

This methodology brings together data from trusted domestic and international sources to inform recommendations for amending the workplace exposure standards.

Safe Work Australia anticipates that the evaluations will begin in the second half of 2018, with public consultation of the evaluation reports to follow in 2019.
