Promoting a Positive Safety Culture

When workers engage with safety, it can mean the difference between life and death. To help ensure a positive safety culture is promoted and upheld, Pro-Visual Publishing, in partnership with the Australian Constructors Association (ACA), Civil Contractors Federation (CCF) and the NSCA Foundation, has released the latest edition of the VIC Construction Site Safety Guide.

This year’s guide reflects information regarding new OHS Regulations 2017 coming into effect June 18th 2017, along with a range of important topics in the industry, such as:

  • Risks involved in operating plant on construction sites.
  • Asbestos risk management.
  • Confined space hazards.

The guide is augmented reality (AR) capable, which provides a window to further resources and information that users can access by simply scanning over any AR capable content using the free Pro-Vis AR app. The AR component is also highly useful in engaging staff during health and safety training.

“I would like to thank all of the sponsors of the VIC Construction Site Safety Guide 2017/18. Their support has made it possible for the Guide to be distributed free of charge.” – John Hutchings, CEO, Pro-Visual Publishing.
