Newly Released Augmented Reality Safety Guide for Restaurants and Cafes

The Restaurant & Café Industry as a workplace can be full of many potential hazards that need to be brought to attention on a daily basis. There are many factors that need to be taken into consideration to ensure workplaces abide by safety standards and are a safe environment to work.

To assist is Pro-Visual Publishing in partnership with Restaurant & Catering Australia, who have released their latest edition of the Restaurant & Café Guide to Managing Workplace & Food Safety 2018/19.

This year’s Guide covers a range of topics including preventing slips trips and falls, preventing cross contamination, temperature control of potentially hazardous foods, fire safety, food storage and stock rotation and first aid kits.

The exciting inclusion of Augmented Reality (AR) is a feature integrated into this year’s guide, which combines print and digital to create an engaging and dynamic experience for restaurant and café workers. By simply downloading the free Pro-Vis AR app, workers can scan over any AR capable content and access further information straight to their smart device.

“I would like to thank all the sponsors of the Restaurant & Café Guide to Managing Workplace & Food Safety 2018/19. Their support has made it possible for the Guide to be distributed free of charge.” – John Hutchings, CEO, Pro-Visual Publishing.
