New Safety Guide Provides Safety Information for the HVAC&R Industry

Knowledge of safety and awareness of potential hazards within the Heating, Ventilation and Air Conditioning Industry is critical to the safety, well-being and health of workers. It is of the utmost importance that workers come home the same way they left, without injury, and feel secure in their workplace on a daily basis.

Pro-Visual Publishing, in partnership with the Air Conditioning and Mechanical Contractors’ Association of Australia (AMCA) has released the latest edition of the HVAC&R Contractors & Engineers Guide to Safety 2019 with interactive Augmented Reality (AR) capabilities. This essential resource covers a range of topics, including:

  • Asbestos in HVAC Systems
  • Working Safely from Ladders
  • Prevention of Falls
  • Depression
  • Airborne Hazards from HVAC&R Systems

The exciting inclusion of AR has allowed the printed workplace safety guide to become digitally interactive, creating greater engagement when reviewing safety information. By simply downloading the free Pro-Vis AR app, users can scan any AR capable content to receive further information straight to their smart device.

“I would like to thank all the sponsors of the HVAC&R Industry Guide to Workplace Safety 2019. Their support has made it possible for the Guide to be distributed free of charge.” — John Hutchings, CEO, Pro-Visual Publishing.
