Managing and Mitigating Risks within Facility Management

Facilities Managers Guide to Workplace Safety 2017/18 – Released

Managing risks associated with hazardous workspaces and keeping up-to-date with current WHS legislation is the responsibility of every Facility Manager. To help assist Facility Managers in complying with their legal responsibilities and duties, Pro-Visual Publishing has released the 2017/18 edition of the Facilities Managers Guide to Workplace Safety.

This year’s guide covers a range of essential areas in the facility management industry, including:

  • The WHS Act — implications for building managers and facilities management.
  • Definition and explanation of the term reasonably practicable.
  • Safety when working at heights.
  • Facility Manager’s PCBU duties and responsibilities.

The Augmented Reality (AR) components of the guide also provide a window to further resources and information, which users can access by simply scanning over any AR capable content using the free Pro-Vis AR app.

“I would like to thank all of the sponsors of the Facilities Managers Guide to Workplace Safety 2017/18. Their support has made it possible for the Guide to be distributed free of charge.” — John Hutchings, CEO, Pro-Visual Publishing.
