Club Managers Guide to Workplace Safety 2018

The Clubs Industry is an environment where there is potential for hazards and injury to workers as well as its patrons. Therefore, staff need to be trained and aware of potential safety risks to themselves as workers and to ensure they are creating a safe environment for patrons. Working in the clubs industry can mean long hours and manual handling. Having knowledge on how to manage fatigue and correct procedures for manual handling is significant to workers wellbeing.

To provide some assistance Pro-Visual Publishing, in partnership with the National Safety Council of Australia Foundation, has released their latest edition of the Club Managers Guide to Workplace Safety.

The Guide covers a range of topics including:

  • Venue Safety Plan.
  • Temperature Control, Food Fridges and Display Units.
  • WHS Management System.
  • Fatigue Management.
  • Manual Handling.

This year’s Guide comprises of AR capabilities, allowing the printed guide to have digitally interactive features, contributing to workers learning and engagement of safety information.
