The Sirius 3RK3 series modular safety system MSS combines the functionality of a safety relay and a programmable logic controller (PLC).
The core of the system is the central unit with eight safety-related inputs, one safety-related relay output and one safety-related solid-state output. Up to seven safety or standard expansion modules can be connected to the central unit. The expandability allows a system to easily scale from 3 to 40 safety functions.
The modular design minimises the wiring required for multiple safety functions.
