Worker injured in incident at Ravensworth Operations

A worker has reportedly suffered suspected spinal injuries after driving a light vehicle over an edge at Ravensworth Operations, near Singleton in NSW. The incident occurred on 31 January 2020, and resulted in the worker sustaining injuries to their back and chest before being taken to John Hunter Hospital for treatment. The NSW Resources Regulator was notified, with inspectors deployed to the sire to investigate the matter. Enquiries into the incident are currently ongoing.
