The V22 Dust cannon from Tecpro is a dust suppression unit designed to use saline or salt water to control dust without the risk of rapid corrosion of components. It is suitable in the materials handling, ship loading and mining sectors.
Dust suppression is a key concern for many industries and often relies on easy access to fresh water. In some locations, where it can be costly or impractical to pump fresh water to the site, the product offers an alternative solution. Manufactured in Italy, the unit features a powerful, energy-efficient turbine and nozzles that generate a fine atomised mist, which binds dust particles to prevent them from spreading. The unit has an 80 m throwing range with 90% saturation (without wind). Alternatively, the turbine can be turned off for more delicate close-range dust suppression.
Weighing 1400 kg and at 2740 mm in length, the dust suppression unit also has low noise emissions at 63 dB at 20 m and is fully automated with a 360° programmable oscillation angle.
