The Serstech ARX MKII is a handheld Raman spectrometer designed for materials handling, distribution, and energy, waste and recycling teams that need fast, onsite identification of unknown powders, liquids and solids. One-button operation in a compact, rugged format is designed to help verify incoming goods, spot contamination and respond to incidents — without waiting for off-site lab results.

Key features include material libraries for common industrial chemicals and plastics/polymers, advanced fluorescence reduction for difficult real-world samples, Deep Scan functionality to help detect trace components and low-level contamination and ChemDash Mobile connectivity for quick report creation and sharing.

Typical applications include inbound and outbound goods verification in warehouses and distribution centres; waste acceptance screening and incident response at transfer stations, MRFs and recycling sites; and sorting support for plastics and polymers to reduce cross-contamination and improve quality.

Using ChemDash Mobile on a smartphone, ARX MKII connects wirelessly to capture results and generate shareable reports, which is designed to support consistent documentation across sites and shifts. Training typically takes only a few hours and user errors are intended to be minimised through intuitive interaction. Night vision mode is designed to ensure compatibility with most night-vision goggles. ARX MKII is backed by a five-year warranty and delivers up to 12 hours of battery runtime.
