Tanker cleaning head with protective cage
The Breconcherry Fury TWB (tanker wash bay) is a high-power, low-flow jetting washer with a robust protective cage for use in tough working conditions in cleaning road and rail tankers and other transport containers for the food, beverage, chemical and coatings industries. It can also be used on tote bins, storage tanks and process vessels.
The piston-operated mechanism is driven by only 5% of the wash water, allowing 95% to pass directly into the three nozzles, maximising jet impingement and cleaning performance, even at low flow rates of 25-100 L/min.
With no turbines or complex gear systems, the washer suffers little wear, while the cage is synchronised with the indexed movement of the mechanism to ensure no interference with the jets. In addition to the standard 360° spray pattern, a 180° down version is optionally available for cleaning open-topped tanks.
The washer can be mounted rigidly in the tank or suspended from a hose for manual cleaning. It has a cleaning radius of 8 m at 15 bar and is suitable for working temperatures of up to 120 °C.
