The Deto-Stop explosion prevention system uses an aluminium alloy mesh to provide protection from explosive combustion in tanks and vessels containing flammable liquids or gases.
The alloy has been developed to provide rapid thermal conductivity, rigid mesh structure, crush strength and corrosion resistance. It provides a lightweight mesh which, when installed in a jerry can, a fuel tank or other vessel, will protect against explosive combustion.
The Deto-Stop explosion-proof metal jerry cans also meet and exceed the compliance requirements of Australian Standards AS2906-2001.
