The Fireray 5000 Auto Alignment Beam Detector range has received FM (Factory Mutual) approval, certifying that it meets rigorous loss prevention standards.
The beam-type range of smoke detectors is claimed to be the first and only motorised, auto-aligning, self-correcting beam smoke detector to receive FM approval. Such approval is granted by FM Global, which offers insurance and property loss prevention engineering for properties worldwide. The detector was subjected to comprehensive testing and the company’s facilities were inspected as part of the approval process. Follow-up audits of manufacturing facilities are required in order to maintain FM Approved status.
