Australian invention Rapid Test is an RCD testing device that has been designed to help improve ongoing WHS compliance, business efficiencies and productivity.
The system has the ability to test from one to hundreds of RCDs - all without plugging directly into a power circuit as there is no need to locate and test individual circuits from the field. This is claimed to make RCD testing up to 180 times faster than other methods used to test RCDs.
It works via a wireless application on a tablet device; the master unit has Wi-Fi capabilities and communicates with the tablet. As testing is completed using the tablet application, the application captures all the data required for compliance requirements.
At the conclusion of testing, this data is uploaded via the cloud to a data portal via the internet (4G or wireless) connection where it can be used to monitor and track all of the RCD compliance needs online.
