The CorDEX TC7000 IR Camera is designed to provide thermography in hazardous/explosive areas. Suitable for oil and gas, mining and hazardous dust environments, the intrinsically safe radiometric thermal imaging camera is ATEX and IECEx certified.
Workers within the petrochemical industry (Zone 1 hazardous areas) will be able to regularly use the camera to scan for hotspots in: refractory lining - crackers, heaters; pipe insulation, missing or damaged; steam traps; electrical systems and switchgear; tank insulation and level; motor bearings, gearboxes, electrical connections, shaft misalignment; pipe trace heating; and missing or degraded insulation.
Other industries with hazardous (explosive) areas where using the CorDEX TC7000 IR camera with intrinsically safe certification during IR inspections would be suitable include: explosive dust environment in sugar, grain, chemical, foodstuff industry; mining industry, coal, ore, precious metals; marine, all LNG and other petrochemical carriers; pharmaceutical; aerospace; and water and sewage processing.
