Workers compensation comparison report released
A report detailing the differences between compensation arrangements for Australian and New Zealand workers has been published by Safe Work Australia.
The 2018 Comparison of workers’ compensation arrangements in Australia and New Zealand report provides information about the operation of workers compensation schemes in each jurisdiction across Australia and New Zealand.
In particular, it discusses the way each scheme deals with key aspects such as:
- coverage
- eligibility for benefits
- return to work provisions
- self-insurance arrangements
- scheme administration and funding arrangements
- dispute resolution, and
- cross-border arrangements.
Safe Work Australia produces the Comparison of workers’ compensation arrangements in Australia and New Zealand document annually to provide key information about workers compensation in Australia and New Zealand.
