Wiring rules and young workers in focus at Electrical Safety Week
Electrical Safety Week is being held again, designed for electrical workers and contractors to improve their safety leadership skills.
Statewide forums will focus on young worker safety, safety leadership and new wiring rules.
The young worker electrical safety forums are intended for apprentices and their supervisors. They focus on the unique risk factors for young workers and discuss how safety should be managed through education, work design and workplace culture.
Lawrence and Hanson Electrical Wholesalers and CNW Electrical Wholesale will host wiring rules breakfasts for electricians throughout Queensland. The breakfasts are free with no registration required.
Electrical Safety Week is being held from 4–8 September. For more information, click here.
