Wall collapse kills man at building site

WorkSafe Victoria is investigating the death of a 56-year-old man after a brick wall collapsed on him at a Ballarat residential building site on Wednesday, 11 September. WorkSafe Victoria believes the Mount Pleasant site was undergoing demolition works when the incident occurred.

The fatality brings the number of Victorian workplace deaths this year to 17, which is one more than the same time last year, according to the regulator.
