Trench fall kills construction worker
A worker has died after he fell into a deep trench at a housing estate under construction in Wallan, Victoria.
The man, who was in his early 30s, is believed to have been unchaining trenching shields from an excavator when he fell over the edge of the trench.
Worksafe Victoria is investigating.
