Sitemed achieves ISO 9001 accreditation
Health and emergency response outsourcing company Sitemed has been awarded ISO 9001 certification.
Sitemed’s general manager and founder, Nicole Nott, said the certification process reflected the company’s desire to show its commitment to excellence and differentiate itself from its competitors through the achievement of recognised benchmarks.
“Sitemed has operated under a robust quality management system for the past two years but we wanted to demonstrate our focus on quality in a way that is understood by industry,” Nott said.
“We felt the best way to do this was by committing ourselves to external assessment and verification.”
The certification process not only allowed Sitemed to confirm that its existing system was of a high standard, but to provide further avenues for improvement.
“Achieving this accreditation is further evidence for our clients that we take quality and safety seriously and we are always willing to innovate and improve what we do and how we do it,” Nott said.
“ISO 9001 is an expected standard for many government and large companies, and achieving this accreditation is an integral part of Sitemed’s strategy for further business development.”
