Scissor lift fall kills worker

A Victorian worker has died in hospital following a scissor lift fall.

The 63-year-old man died from the injuries he sustained during the incident at a Derrimut warehouse on 22 December 2018.

It is believed he was servicing an overhead gantry crane from the platform of the extended scissor lift when it was struck by the moving crane, causing it to roll over.

WorkSafe Victoria is investigating.
