Queensland seeks feedback on Concrete Pumping Code of Practice 2019
Until 10 October, the Queensland Government is seeking feedback on the draft update of the Concrete Pumping Code of Practice 2019 (the Code).
Providing practical guidance for persons conducting a business or undertaking (PCBUs) on how to meet their health and safety duties when performing construction work involving concrete pumping, the Code is undergoing its scheduled five-year review — as required under section 274 of the Work Health and Safety Act 2011.
Since a comprehensive review was completed in 2017–2019, the present review is limited to:
- technical updates, eg, including relevant information from safety alerts issued by the Queensland Government in the last five years; and
- editorial changes to improve readability, ensure legislative consistency and update any outdated references.
Submissions for feedback are due by 11.59 pm (AEST) on Friday, 10 October 2025.
More information, including how to provide feedback, is available here.
