Pelican reaches 40-year milestone
Pelican Products has celebrated its 40th anniversary this year.
The company was established in 1976 and designs tools that are used by professionals including firefighters, police, military, aerospace and industrial workers.
“Pelican has been on an amazing journey from its beginnings in a garage in 1976 to becoming the global power in the design and manufacture of the toughest products in their categories,” said Lyndon Faulkner, Pelican’s president and CEO.
“Our continued success is a testament to the people who have contributed their ideas, vision, enthusiasm and hard work over the years.”
The company offers its products across commercial and government, providing protective cases and portable lighting tools to military, fire, law enforcement, aerospace and industrial professionals.
The company’s consumer division offers a full line of protective cases, coolers, drinkware, luggage and advanced lighting systems, while Pelican BioThermal provides temperature-controlled, thermally protected packaging and service solutions to the global life sciences industry. These products ensure that delicate biological materials arrive intact and effective, despite exterior environments.
The company rapidly expanded throughout Asia and Europe in 2007, while in 2011 it opened offices in India, Singapore and South Africa.
