Man dies after tractor rolls into dam
A man who died after the tractor he was driving rolled into a dam has now been confirmed as Victoria’s third workplace fatality of 2016.
The incident, which occurred on 9 January at Kialla West, south of Shepparton in north-east Victoria, follows the fatalities of two young men who were electrocuted on 5 and 6 January.
It is believed that the latest victim, aged 67, was moving a bale of hay while travelling down a narrow dirt track when the tractor rolled.
The man allegedly died at the scene.
WorkSafe said it will continue to investigate the incident.
