Honeywell Safety Products appoints new President

Honeywell has appointed Jack Boss as President of Honeywell Safety Products, a part of Honeywell Automation and Control Solutions’ Life Safety business.

Boss joined Honeywell in 2004 and was most recently Vice President and General Manager of Honeywell Specialty Products. He worked for AlliedSignal, a predecessor of Honeywell, from 1988 to 1996, where he held sales and marketing management positions of increasing responsibility. In 2008, Honeywell recognised Boss with the Honeywell Premier Achievement Award for his work to grow the Specialty Chemicals business.

Prior to joining Honeywell, Boss worked at Great Lakes Chemical, serving first as Vice President and General Manager of Fine Chemicals and then as Vice President and General Manager of Fluorines.

Boss earned a bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering from the University of West Virginia and an MBA in marketing and finance from Rutgers.
