Safe Work Australia has reported on some of the most common hazards faced in metal manufacturing factories or workshops and these include falling from heights, being run over by a forklift, having something fall on workers (for example from cranes or hoists), electrocution, and hands or body parts being caught in machinery. In order to increase safety awareness and compliance within this industry and address some of the most common hazards faced by workers on a daily basis, Pro-Visual Publishing, in partnership with Australian Industry Group (Ai Group), has recently released the latest edition of the Metal Manufacturing Industry Guide to Safety, this year with interactive Augmented Reality (AR) capabilities.
