The lightweight Trident Headlamp combines a bright krypton bulb and three ultra bright white LEDs.

The headlamp features three-way lighting for short, medium and long distances. A press-switch turns on one LED, a second press turns on two more LEDs for more light and a third press turns on the krypton bulb. The focus of the krypton bulb can be adjusted from spot to flood focus.

The single LED is bright enough for close areas where only low light is needed. The three LEDs project enough light to be useful in accomplishing normal on-scene duties while making the most of battery life. The krypton bulb is useful for medium range spotting or brightly illuminating a nearby area on flood focus. The lamp assembly can be tilted downwards 90°, and it ratchets on a plastic tab to hold it in place.

Another version, the Trident Green features one green LED to assist in preserving night vision, two white LEDs and a krypton bulb. Both versions have a virtually unbreakable polymer body, are water resistant, have a scratch-resistant lens and can be worn directly on the head or on a helmet.
