Self-tipping skips

Actisafe has released a range of self-tipping skips to be used in general industrial applications, as well as the food processing and handling industries.

Styles include the durable low-maintenance heavy-duty skip, stainless steel self-tipping skip, combined self-tipping skip and handy bin.

The heavy-duty skips are suited to heavier industrial use in factories, warehouses and building sites. These are best handled by forklift truck and will contain almost any kind of material.

Companies can colour customise bins to enable instant knowledge of what each bin contains. They can be arranged according to the level of product danger, priority, weight or density, for example.

Self-tipping skips can be emptied by lifting from the rear and feature easy fork mounting, robust fork guides for security and a self-locking return mechanism. Styles available include skips without lids (from 1000 to 2000 kg capacity) skips with a lid (1000 to 2000 kg), and low-profile skips at 1000 kg capacity.

The stainless steel series of self-tipping skips is suited to applications with high standards of hygiene.

The range boasts corrosion resistance properties and is configured with a nylon wheel set with stainless steel plate. Units have a capacity ranging from 1000 up to 2000 kg.

The combined self-tipping skips have been designed with a self-locking return mechanism. These are recommended for removal of production waste as they operate with robust fork guides to provide better security and enable easy fork mounting.

The bottom-empty dumping skips are designed to simplify disposal of factory waste. The bottom base has self-closing latches and the entire unit has reinforced fork guides. Weight capacity ranges from 183 kg for the smallest unit (without lid) to 240 kg for the largest unit with lid.
