The Overpack salvage drums meet or exceed packaging requirements of UN and DOT Regulations. The UV-protected polyethylene construction provides good chemical and corrosion resistance. The twist-down lid incorporates a closed-cell gasket to maintain a tight closure seal. Castellations in the lid allow for easy closing with a pole or two-by-four.
The ribbed/moulded design provides extra strength and allows for easy gripping and pick-up by material handling equipment.
The drums are lightweight and nestable for efficient storage.
Model 72020 is suitable for containment and disposal of a leaking 205 L drum. Model 72222 is suitable for disposal of laboratory or medical waste. They are also suitable as a spill response kit container and both drums incinerate completely.
