A non-contact coded safety switch, PSENcode, meets the highest requirements for safety gate monitoring.

PSENcode satisfies category 4 of AS4024.1 and the definite assignment of a switch and its counterpart makes it almost impossible to defeat the safety gate as required by state plant regulations. A fully coded version of the switch is also available for particularly demanding safety applications.

More than 10 safety switches can be connected in series, making PSENcode suitable for complex plant. In addition to meeting category 4, this configuration reduces the amount of wiring involved.

PSENcode is quick and easy to install, as there is no need to wire a second switch. Five directions of actuation and a long switching distance of 17 mm ensure maximum flexibility during installation.

Rated at IP67, the safety switches can be used in the pharmaceutical and food industry as well as on metal processing plant and machinery.
