Respiratory Protection has released the totally re-engineered Pureflo ESM.

This advanced all-in-one helmet offers P3 PAPR particle protection incorporating AS/NZS approved hard hat, impact and molten metal/chemical protective visor as a complete unit weighing 1050 g.

The air flow varies from 170 to 190 L/min dependent on the requirements of the user. The helmet contains a head-mounted display incorporating LED/audio signals for monitoring airflow, battery charge and filter life. Environmentally friendly nickel metal hydride batteries provide eight hours of continuous operation and fully recharge in 2.5 hours.

The electronic systems management (ESM) microchip ensures that the optimum positive pressure airflow is maintained at all times. No trailing wires, belt-mounted filters, fan motor or batteries as the Pureflo ESM is fully self-contained in the helmet.

Additional options including welding screen, molten metal mesh visor, lamp bracket attachment, P3 filter with odour/vapourcarbon, and radiant heat kit extend the versatility of the Pureflo ESM to wide ranging industrial applications.
