Onetec has released the flexible DEL-1C compression load cell system. This design provides a useful device for testing a small press or train and tram brake systems.
The flexible arm allows the load cell to be placed inside difficult places where danger would be presented to an operator. Operating from a 9 VDC battery, the load cell is available in standard capacities of 3 and 5 tonnes.
The system offers features such as automatic power off to save battery life, peak hold, push-button calibration, up to 100 S/s and optional RS232 data output. A traceable calibration is available on request.
