The P-EPIRB (personal emergency position indicating radio beacon) includes a lanyard, GPS interface cable and bulkhead mount.

This compact unit weighs 338 g and measures 4.4 x 14.5 x 7.7 cm, can be easily carried in a pack or pocket, and is waterproof to 5 m.

When activated it has an operating life of 24 h and provides the user's position to within 100 m. It also incorporates multiple test options which allow testing of battery power, GPS data confirmation, internal circuitry; and battery power indicator alerts the user when less than 24 h of operating life remains.

There are two options available - GPS Interface and GPS Integrated/Interface. It is accurate to 2.3 nm without GPS and 0.05 nm with GPS and the user's location will be received within 1 h without GPS and 2-15 min with GPS.

The protective P-EPIRB holster allows for vertical or horizontal mounting options on life vests, foul weather gear and safety harnesses. The AquaFix carries the approvals of COSPAS-SARSAT, FCC, R & TTE, and CE.
