Pedestrian early warning system

Fork alert uses infer-red technology to warn pedestrians that forklifts are operating within their workspace. The system is used to warn pedestrians that a forklift is approaching a blind intersection or entering a doorway, it can be further linked to pedestrian gates that will magnetically lock as a forklift approaches so the pedestrian cannot enter the intersection.

Features of the system include:

  • Reduces the risk of pedestrian death or injury
  • Provides a clear early warning of the prescence of forklifts
  • Only activates when the forklift is operational
  • Is not triggered by vehicles that pose no risk or pedestrian movement
  • Has adjustable range and coverage
  • Not affected by, nor affects other plant equipment
  • Modular for future expansion
  • No licenses or permits required to operate the system

Enhance your existing safety measures by providing and earlier and more distinct pedestrian warning in high hazard areas such as blind spots, intersections, doorways and noisy environments.
