Rack Armour is a protection device for pallet racking and industrial shelving which is prone to damage caused by forklifts and other warehouse machinery. It can be used to reduce the cost and time associated with repairing and replacing damaged racking.
Rack Armour is a product consisting of two components. The outer is a ballistics-grade polymer which has been ergonomically designed to deflect impact. The inner is made from high-density foam which absorbs and diffuses any residual impact along the length of the unit. Rack Armour comes in two sizes so it can be used with any make or model of racking or industrial shelving. It is also effective down to -40°C so is suitable for use in cold stores.
Rack Armour has been independently tested and has passed the standards set down for pallet rack protection devices in FEM 10.2.02 (upon which AS4084 is based) for both front and side impacts. Rack Armour simply clips onto existing racking without the need for further fixings or lengthy installation and is available in a range of colours as well as the original high visibility yellow.
